ABOUT
I am an Asian American graphic design student who was born in Washington state that now resides in Illinois.
My vision throughout my work is to create and connect people through meaningful designs that tell a story, which may not be obvious at first glance. I want my designs to invite and open up a space for conversation, where stories can be told and meanings can be articulated through thoughtful interactions.
My love for graphic design began at a young age as I was obsessed with drawing Japanese anime characters and crafting trinkets using polymer clay. I always loved arts and crafts that allowed me to create anything that related to my interests. I eventually moved away from traditional art as I became more interested in computers and growing forms of technology, eventually self teaching myself Photoshop out of pure curiosity during the pandemic lockdown in 2020.
