DESIGN CONCEPT • for this project, I wanted to align my design with the church’s mission statement and vision, which are: “to be transformed together through an all-consuming vision of Christ’s glory revealed in all of Scripture,” and “to exalt Jesus and to see lives transformed by Him.” With my initial logo sketches, I had the idea of displaying either a depiction of a trinity, cross, or any iconography that visually related to a church.
FINAL OUTCOME • the final logo features an illustration of the cross, a central symbol of the Christian faith. During my design process, I was inspired by the robe that Jesus was described to wear around Him and utilized the negative space in a creative way that depicts the fabric of his robe. When looked at closely, the elements of the logo individually spell out the letters “t”, “r”, and “i”—a visual nod to both the Holy Trinity and the name of the church.
